The Upgrade to Full Licence course allows you to build on your existing real estate qualifications and move towards operating independently, managing trust accounts, or running your own agency. Study online or in-class with full trainer support — and no exams.

- CPPREP4125 – Transact in trust accounts
- CPPREP4503 – Present at hearings in real estate
- CPPREP4506 – Manage off-site and lone worker safety in real estate
- CPPREP5006 – Manage operational finances in the property industry
- CPPREP5010 – Manage customer service activities in the property industry
Career Pathways
After completing this upgrade, you’ll receive your CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice. This qualification allows you to apply for your Full Real Estate Agent Licence with the Queensland Office of Fair Trading (OFT).

What is an Upgrade Course?
It’s a shorter course designed to add the extra units needed to move from your Registration Certificate to a Full Real Estate Licence — without repeating what you’ve already done.
Who is this course for?
You must have completed the QLD Registration Certificate under the CPP41419 training package which was introduced in 2021. If you completed your course under any earlier real estate training package, you’ll need to enrol in the Full Licence course with the possibility to apply for RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning).

How long do I have to finish the course?
You have 6 months, but many students finish faster depending on their availability.
Are there exams?
No. Our course includes 6 open-book assessment sets, completed via our online learner portal with trainer support.
How do I apply for my licence?
Once you’ve completed the course, submit your qualification and Statement of Attainment to the Queensland OFT as part of your application. Processing takes approximately 4–6 weeks.
